TODD + RYLIE. this is what you get when fun meets beautiful. it’s just as much an advertisement for being a fun-loving couple as it is a documentary-style wedding video. at every location, they’d surprise me with the most hilarious and entertaining snippets of interaction that i knew would make for a great wedding video. enjoi their love storie and contact me if you’d like a similar one–i’d love to shoot more couples just like this one!
how-we-met videos are the best because they only get more and more valuable the older you get! todd & rylie share their story about how they met, and all those beginning moments that led their big wedding day [which i also had the privilege to film]. i don’t know how i get so lucky, but i seem to find so many clients who are down to do whatever in front of the camera–it makes for a much more fun video. enjoy and share with anyone who needs a how-we-met video soon!

just another day in the life of a beautiful couple getting married in the iconic salt lake city temple. dan & bri were a pleasure to film, even though it started to rain on us after about 30 minutes of shooting. we improvised and encountered new wonderful opportunities, such as live music being played in the joseph smith building which allowed for a wonderful dance scene transition to the reception. when life serves you lemons, eat them.

jared & kelsey married for time and eternity in the idaho falls, ID temple. believe it or not, it actually rained on their wedding day. luckily for us, we had shot at the temple the day before [at sunset] so we still had some stellar images to work with. we felt pretty lucky about that!
sometimes i get really lucky with phenomenal clients that have great ideas and are willing to do just about anything. i mean, they shot their engagements in hawaii underwater while out there on vacation! i was privileged to shoot everything else though, both photo and video for their wedding day, which took place in 2 parts: san diego temple one week, then thanksgiving point [utah] the next. we had opportunities for amazing things at both locations, among other nearby spots. here’s to a bright future to a sweet couple that has personally...
This was my 1st real experience with zumba and dang, I think I’m converted. There was SO much energy there, I couldn’t help but dance between shots. It was also the most crowded I’ve ever seen that venue–there was seriously almost no room for filming on the floor. You’ll notice that I actually got in the MIDDLE of the zumba dancers to get some intense shots… yeah, it was seriously dangerous for both my camera AND my face [fast-moving flailing arms hurt dude].
